WANT TO MEET US, GET A TOUR OF OUR STUDIO FACILITIES AND GET SOME FEEDBACK ON YOUR MUSIC?

As this program is 100% tailored, we encourage all potential students to book in a complimentary 30 minute induction, studio tour and feedback session. This is the perfect opportunity to meet with us to discuss your music journey and goals, listen to your music on a mastering grade system, get some constructive feedback on your own music, as well as discuss how we can help you with your music and what we would cover in Tailored 1 on 1 Sessions.

Every artist is unique. Every project is different.

This is why we don’t believe a ‘one size fits all’ solution is the best way to help students effectively and efficiently realise their music making goals. As such, we tailor all our 1 on 1 lesson plans, advice, techniques and creative strategies 100% to you, your music and your goals. This all starts with your complimentary 30 minute in-person induction session at Little Street Studio. We meet with you, listen to your music, identify your musical goals and then tailor a 100% custom lesson plan which focuses only on your needs and teaches you exactly what you need to know to see results fast.

Why Choose to Learn In Person at Little Street Studio?

This is the furthest thing away from a GENERIC online course or program. And WE’RE PROUD OF THAT.

Here are some of the benefits of learning in person, on your own music:

√ -  Work in-person with expert tutors.
√ - Learn in a world class, fully treated and calibrated studio environment - understand what’s really happening in your music.
√ - Learn in context to your own projects and ideas - no generic and potentially irrelevant advice.
√ - Finish your demos and sketches into incredible sounding and release ready songs, whilst picking up the skills and techniques to be able independently achieve these same results yourself.
√ - Easy to follow and repeatable processes that simplify even the most complex of music making techniques.
√ - Access to your own personal and committed tutor full time.
√ - Unlimited access, feedback on projects and questions week to week.
√ - Accountability towards progress and goals.
√ - Flexible session and lesson packages to suit various goals and budgets.
√ - Flexible payment options.

Here IS WHAT YOU AVOID:

X - No generic advice.
X - No online, pre-made courses.
X - No learning through a computer screen in sub optimal listening conditions.
X - No lack of accountability or self guided modules.

THE LITTLE STREET DIFFERENCE…

1 - LEARNING IN PERSON. ON YOUR OWN MUSIC.

Oftentimes it can be hard to hear what’s missing in your music, or where you need to focus your attention in order to really elevate your music. This can be especially difficult if working in less than optimal listening environments depending on your own setup and monitoring. Having someone try to explain complex and nuanced production techniques to you through a computer screen isn’t going to be an efficient way of learning as you might just not be hearing the differences. Especially when the advice isn’t demonstrated in context to your own productions. What applies to a demo or example project could simply not be relevant to the kind of music you make, it could even be poor advice if not applied in the right context. That’s why we insist on teaching all our intermediate and advanced lessons in person, at your pace, in a state of the art studio environment where you can hear absolutely everything and therefore fully understand what you are learning. All whilst working on your own projects and ideas.

2 - OUR STUDIO FACILITIES AND MONITORING SYSTEMS

Both our studio spaces are fully acoustically treated to mastering grade standards, featuring two of the world’s best and most accurate monitoring systems. A Kii Three + BXT System in Studio 1 and a Neumann KH 420 System in Studio 2. Couple this with the latest Trinnov Nova Room Correction units in both rooms, our monitoring environment is totally flat. What you hear out of the speakers is EXACTLY what is happening in your project. No exaggerated or boomy low end, no boxy mids, no harsh highs. If we’re hearing this in your project then it means we have work to do!

Why Is This Important?

The most subtle changes in things such as compression and EQ can be clearly heard in our studio. This allows us to start training your ears to recognise how things should sound much more efficiently, giving you the tools and understanding to apply more complex techniques confidently and independently, even when you’re back in your own studio.

3 - EXPERT TUTORS

All our tutors are actively releasing music and have been for the past decade. They mix and master their own material and have had their music supported by some of the biggest artists in the world. Meet them here. Not only that but they have been teaching for over 5 years, working with many different types of learners and many different styles of music. We understand people like to work at different paces, we recognise when we need to slow things down or speed things up. We meet you at your level. All our tutors are competent and comfortable teaching everything up to the most advanced of mixing and mastering techniques.

TESTIMONIALS

“Good Studio” — Flume

Amazing studio! I had some 1:1 music production sessions with Gurpaal and I learnt so much in such a short space of time! I was immediately able to apply what I was learning to my productions and develop them to a much higher standard. It’s a beautiful, welcoming space with absolutely every piece of kit you could imagine! Can’t wait to go back!

I booked in 6 weeks of Production lessons at Little Street Studio and Gurpaal was extremely accomodating to my needs. My lessons were specifically tailored to my level of experience and knowledge. Throughout the lessons I was able to finish and fine-tune my track, to a quality ready to be played in clubs and release. It was exactly what I needed at this point in my music career and really took my skills to the next level. The studio itself is also extremely aesthetic and an incredibly inspiring place to work - I’ll be back!

The knowledge I’ve acquired from the lessons at LSS has significantly advanced my journey in electronic music production. I wholeheartedly recommend LSS to anyone venturing into music production. I would have never expected to receive such in-depth guidance on the Ableton software and various synthesisers in the studio. Being a student here has truly been a pleasure. Thank you LSS for the invaluable experience!
