No. The Open Day - and our Beginner Course - are designed for complete beginners and up. If you’re curious about making music but not sure where to start, you’re in the right place. If you’ve already made a start but you’re struggling to finish complete songs, you’re in the right place too. 

Our Beginner Music Production Course is a 6-week, in-person program for complete beginners, focused on learning the fundamentals of music production using Ableton Live.

The course is designed to help students build confidence and start writing music they love within six weeks, through hands-on learning, small class sizes, and plenty of support along the way.

You’ll tour the studio, meet the team, and take part in a short Introduction to Ableton Live workshop. We’ll also explain how the Beginner Course works and answer any questions you have.

Not at all. The Open Day is simply a chance to see how we teach, get a feel for the studio, and work out whether the course feels right for you. Many people attend specifically to help them decide, and there’s no obligation to sign up.

Just yourself. No equipment or gear is required for the session. 

Yes. If you decide the course feels right for you, you’ll have the option to sign up on the day.

The Open Day takes place at our Little Street Studio location in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Full address details will be sent after registration.
